Privacy Policy

WINGS Flight Companion (“WINGS”) is an aviation training and personal flight-companion app. This policy describes information the app may process, why it is used, and the choices available to users.

Information processed

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, WINGS may process precise location coordinates, timestamps, recorded flight routes, flight notes, logbook entries, training progress, and preferences. Some features may also use device information needed for app functionality.

Location permissions

Location is used for flight recording and related features when permission is granted. You can manage location permissions in your device settings. Disabling location access may limit flight-recording features.

On-device storage and exports

Flight history, logbook entries, notes, and progress may be stored on your device. If you choose to export or share records, the destination and recipient you select may receive that information.

Optional external services

Some features may request information from external providers, such as mapping or weather services, when available. Information handled by those providers may be subject to their policies. The final release's integrations and associated disclosures will be reviewed before submission.

Retention and deletion

Information stored on your device can be managed through available app features. Removing the app may delete locally stored app data, subject to device backups and any copies you exported.

Children

WINGS is not designed specifically for children.

Changes

This policy may be updated as WINGS changes. The effective date above indicates the current version.
